At the end of Carlisle Drive off Chestnut Stump Road in Dana are the grave sites of more Stepp descendants.
William E. Stepp (1866-1945); J.M. “Bearded Jim” Stepp, who served with the 3rd N.C. Militia during the Cherokee removal in 1838; and his wife, Leodicia King Stepp, have grave sites in the cemetery. The grave stone for Leodicia King Stepp was missing.
About nine people are buried in the cemetery. The cemetery is surrounded by private property. It is maintained and surrounded by a fence.
Permission must be obtained from surrounding property owners to visit the cemetery.
