The largest cemetery in the county, Shepherd Memorial Park, is located in the Naples community. When the land for the cemetery was purchased in 1954, a historic family cemetery was located on the property, the Gourley-Smith Family Cemetery. This cemetery contains the grave of a Revolutionary War Patriot. Ten men from Henderson County who died in the Vietnam War have grave sites within Shepherd Memorial Park.
There are also two other family cemeteries in the community: a Smith Family Cemetery located behind Shepherd Memorial Park and the Williamson-Patton Family Cemetery. The Williamson-Patton Cemetery also contains the grave of a Revolutionary War Patriot.
